It's hard to manage and control devices in your IT environments and networks not under your control. Paradrop takes a data-intensive approach to collect, inspect and enrich valuable cybersecurity data you don't see from other platforms and tools. We have the richest data, so you don't have to worry about missing a beat.
Open Source Integrations
Are you looking to reduce costs and drive efficiencies with Open Source technologies? Paradrop continues to release integrations to standard open source technologies to bring dispersed data streams into one stream of data that works together instead of against you in an unmanageable way.

Supercharge how you support your endpoints by drilling down to troublesome and vulnerable devices that can fall victim to bad actors and malicious activity. Operators and end-users shouldn't fall victim to insufficient tools and blind spots. Paradrop helps support the lifecycle of your devices by providing advanced search, reporting, and alerting capabilities without much configuration.
Features
Robust System Data
Paradrop agents collect installed software, running processes, network data, containers, important system configurations, and much more! We're always adding more data at no cost to performance.
Advanced Search
Search, filter, and search even further across seven different data collections: Hosts, Containers, Software, Vulnerabilities, Host Assessment, Events, Audit, and Changes.
Easy Compliance
Easily view host-based assessments, vulnerabilities, and system configurations to report and alert teams to stay ahead of compliance deadlines across all endpoints monitored.
Multiple Alert Channels
Inform teams across alert channels at once. Paradrop supports Slack, Microsoft Teams, Mattermost, and Email. Enable, disable or configure specific actions when a new event is triggered.
Custom Reporting
Create custom reports from data collected with customizable column headers. Reports can be generated for FedRamp, ATO/SSP, ISO, HIPAA/HiTrust, and other standard reporting needs for continuous security operations.
RESTful APIs for Automation
Create automation and take action by leveraging our many RESTful APIs to query, create/read/update/delete data from trusted sources. Every UI interaction in the dashboard can be replicated using APIs defined in our documentation.
How It Works
FAQ
Is the paradrop agent resource intensive?
The agent uses less than 50MB of memory; typically, systems will never use more than 15MB. The agent only uses a small amount of CPU during routine data collection because of the efficient Golang runtime and safety mechanisms. Users will only see resources impacted during vulnerability or anti-virus scans scheduled during agent configuration setup.
Does your agent require admin/root permissions?
No, but we do recommend admin/root privileges since not all data will be able to be collected. You can run the agent binary in standalone or daemon mode.
How does paradrop secure the data it's collected?
By default, we configure hardened SSL/TLS, authentication, and data-at-rest encryption. We force administrators to set up a unique username and password before the application can be run. We offer several ways to configure the paradrop stack runtime.
What database does paradrop use?
By default, we chose the latest OpenSearch DB and Dashboard during setup, but Elasticsearch or compatible databases can be used. We recommend if you're already running Elastic Stack 7.x or above, use that cluster as paradrop doesn't override any cluster configurations or interfere with existing indices.
What is required to install the paradrop agent?
The paradrop agent requires no dependencies to be installed, and open source integrations are optional. Please review our Getting Started documentation if you choose to enable the open source integrations. The agent can be installed as a system package.
Can I run the paradrop stack in Kubernetes containers?
The paradrop stack can be installed via a system package or container. We provide examples of running the stack via Docker Compose, Vagrant, and Kubernetes. We recommend customers copy our defaults and customize them based on the cluster setup and administrator preferences.
